Thurston County Sheriff's officials are investigating a suspected homicide after a man was found dead Friday near Tumwater.
The man is described as a black man in his mid-30s. He was found at about 4 p.m. with gunshot wounds on a wooded trail near Guerin Park, according to the sheriff’s office.
As of Friday night detectives were working to identify the man.
The investigation is ongoing.
