SmileMobile offers dental care: The new SmileMobile, a van that travels the state offering dental services to children and pregnant women who might not otherwise have access to dental care, will be parked at Lydia Hawk Elementary School, 7600 Fifth Ave. SE, Lacey, all week. Volunteer Storytime Training: The South Sound Reading Foundation is hosting a volunteer social and storytime training with Timberland Regional librarian Karlyn Spevacek from 4-6 p.m. at 200 Sleater Kinney Road NE, Olympia. Spevacek will teach how to host effective, educational, and engaging storytimes for various age groups. Snacks will be provided. RSVP to Hannah at hhillig@nthurston.k12.wa.us if you plan to attend. The event is offered as part of the training process for the SSRF Adopt-a-Daycare program which matches volunteers with a child care facility where the volunteer will be a "guest reader" on a regular basis.

Advanced care planning workshop: Would your loved ones be prepared to make health care decisions that honor your wishes in the event of a serious accident or sudden illness that left you incapacitated?
